Projects Mode
Projects Mode allows you to create focused AI assistants for specific notes and tasks by predefining the context. This feature uses cache-augmented generation, giving the AI full access to the long context, enabling it to handle more complex questions and understand different document types. You can include various file types.
- Expanded file support:
- Documents (📄): pdf, doc, docx, ppt, pptx, epub, txt, rtf, and many more
- Images (🖼️): jpg, png, svg, gif, bmp, webp, tiff
- Spreadsheets (📊): xlsx, xls, csv, numbers
- Each project keeps its own chat history, which you can save, load, and access as normal.
- Default AI models
gpt-4.1-miniandgemini-2.5-flashfor performance and cost-efficiency.
Easy Guide to Use Projects Mode
- Go to Projects Mode above your chat.
- Click Create button to initiate a project.
- Set up your project including
- General Project Information
- Provide your project name and a short project description for documentation purpose.
- AI Model Configuration
- See Copilot Settings for more details.
- Context sources
- Tell Copilot to exclude files or include files by tag, folder, or files. Click Manage Context
- Note: Tags should be in the properties of notes, not inline tags.
- Enrich the project context by multiple YouTube or URLs.
- Click Save. Start chatting in your project workspace.
- Tip: You can edit, chat, or delete your project.
